About Us
Genesee Vascular Lab has provided vascular diagnostic testing for 30 years and was Incorporated in 1986.
We are one of the first of 250 vascular laboratories in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico to be accredited in 1993 by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories.
Accreditation status signifies that the facility has been reviewed by an independent agency, which recognizes the laboratory's commitment of quality testing for diagnosis of vascular disease.
Participation in the accreditation process is voluntary and demonstrates the laboratory's concern for high quality patient care and attention to quality assurance.
Genesee Vascular Lab, Inc. serves as a training site for the Rochester Institute of Technology's Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
The lab is privately owned and operated and employs only Registered Vascular Technologists.
To help ensure that the medical and technical staff continue to set high standards for themselves and the lab, Genesee Vascular Lab encourages and supports continuing medical education.
