Venous Testing
Venous Duplex Scan
This exam is performed using ultrasound. It evaluates the blood flow within the veins of the arms and legs. It is highly accurate in detecting a blood clot. This exam may also be used to measure the size of a vein being used for bypass surgery.

VenousReflux Exam
An evaluation of the valves that prevent back-flow of blood in the veins of your legs. This test is performed using sensors adhered to the legs and occasionally blood pressure cuffs may also be used.
